If approved by the Board of County Commissioners, it looks as if El Paso County might enter into a $25 million dollar deal to buy a new 3-story office building, parking garage and wastewater treatment on the former Intel campus, as reported by Eileen Welsome of The Gazette.
Personally, this is great news for Colorado Springs Real Estate, as also for the community at large because it helps to decentralize some the county-run operations to the Garden of the God’s location. This helps for convenience for those who require visits to the Department of Health and Envir0nment, the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, the Department of Human Services, the Office of Emergency Management, as well as the Clerk & Recorder, Assessor and Treasurer’s Office.
